I can not tell you how many times I did. How many times I binged, how many times I let friends pressure me into eating, how many times I just said “Oh fuck it, I’M HUNGRY” I messed up PLENTY. And guess what? I’ve lost nearly 40lbs in around 5 months. You are going to mess up. But when you do the only thing that you can do is wake up the next day and go even harder. I believe in you all.
So yesterday he told me “we should run together every sunday” That worried me a little, cause years ago, he used to run 20km and I never ever could hold on his rate.But today I could!!!!! and not just that I was feeling great, good rythm, speed, heart rate, everything was just fine, but suddenly he asked me to stop!!! I feel like I beat him, but I told him ” you´re right honey, I´m so tired too” He´s my hero and I want to make him feel that way. But I´m happy cause finally I’ve seen the result of these 4 months of hard work
I’ve been doing yoga for a month, and results of it are finally showing up. My running is better I feel more flexible and my stride is wider, so it allows me to be faster. And the best part of it, really really yoga has calm my knee pain. So maybe I’ll be able to improve my distance too (21 km is my goal)
We make this line, my trainer call it “trenecito” (little train), so basically, we get into line and star running at 70% the runner at the end should run faster to be in the lead, later the next runner and so during 400 mts. 2 minutes of recovery and then start all over again (5 times). Our line was small cause was just between Tania and me, but it works with more runners, and is really fun . So you can try it.

but how do you manage to lose weight without losing muscle?

Thank you so much. I do feel like I´ve lost muscle, so I´m trying to gaing 4lbs of muscle, I have a protein shake everyday, cause I´ve read its great to gain muscle and also to lose fat. Keep yourself healthy and happy, is the most important thing to lose weight.

I wanted to lose weight since january„ but I really commit it in May… so I lost 10 pound with a healty diet between 1400-1500 calories a day, by August I met my trainer and I began to run so I lost other 10 pounds.
goodness you are absolutely inspiring!!! i never expected 20 pounds could make SUCH a huge difference?? i am so driven to get there now. i've lost 12 pounds or so thus far, hopefully 15 by the end of the year, then 5 more to go till i lose 20 pounds! and you have kids - a 24/7 full-time job - while i complain i don't have time to lose weight and exercise just because I have school. i guess it's all about how much we want it that's all! keep it up babe, and i'm all for you going for your plastic surgery if it makes you happier! take care and good luck (:

Yes, I did run today, and it was really amazing, our trainner take us to Chachapa and then we ran up to this amazin hill. At the top of it you can see the city, I was really happy. For me, running hills is really tired, so at the end of it I get really sick, I feel so nauseous, but after 10 minutes we start over again. I suppose maybe I burn 1000 calories, but is hard to know exactly.
Ok Ok… maybe is no the most gorgeus body in the world, but I really like it… is strong and healthy, and allows me to run 18 km, so I promise to take care of it, love it and respect it. Is the beginning of a best relation ship with myself.
